I understand why your print content doesn't get into Russia, but why Brazil?

Hi, John. Sadly it is because of a high level of credit card fraud - we had too many experiences of sending products and content to Brazil where the credit card companies then reported the transaction as fraudulent.  We not only lose the money we have been paid, and the products we have sent, but get charged an additional fee by the payment processors.

It's annoying for us, because we want to reach everyone with our message, but we are too small a project to absorb this sort of loss, and were advised that the best option was to exclude Brazil as a destination.

I hadn't even thought of credit card fraud. How disappointing.

This is interesting. I  made a purchase last year and if there were any problems I don't remember them. Last night I purchased 2 films and in minutes I got notice from my credit card company that I had possible fraudulent activity and to contact them to clear it - or not. So I did. Then I remembered I meant to order a calendar so I went back to the site and ordered it and my my order was stopped! I read on and it too mentioned possible fraud activity so I had to call the number back, wait for several minutes to go through all the prompts before I got to the point where I said , yes it was a valid charge. I l know card companies in the US have especially a bad time with fraud when ordering porn and other "adult" products. I'm guessing here but perhaps its because of the nudity of your products that some companies have put a flag on it, even though its not porn.

It could be your bank or the credit card company increasing security with unintended consequences. If the transaction came up as being in a foreign country, even not one which might usually be flagged, or was at an unusual time, it might trigger an alert. It has happened to me. On one occasion it was a purchase from Amazon and was not an 'adult' product. On another occasion an automatic renewal of a subscription to a website in the UK caused my card to be 'locked'. I had been a member of that site for several years. Apparently some 'upgrades' to the fraud detection software were to blame. I doubt that it was because of what you were purchasing.

Hopefully not Jarod. Being an international purchase prob triggered it...it just occurred to me that perhaps nudity flagged it as well, but I certainly hope not!😊

Hello

I'm from Finland and I've bought your calendar for several years now.  Is there any reason why shipping is not available for Finland this year? I would love to buy the calendar for next year also

Hi, Jiri

You should definitely be able to buy the calendar for delivery to Finland!!  Our financial manager lives just outside Helsinki, and I know that she will be expecting one!!

I have asked our support team to look at whether there is a problem with the website.
